Tribosonics sensing technologies to be showcased at Novares Venture Day in Paris

We are delighted to present our sensing technologies at the inaugural Novares Venture Day, in Paris, on the 9th of October 2019.

Tribosonics is an innovation-led scale-up with a strong challenger mindset, driving transformation by using its unique sensing technologies. We address challenges in equipment, systems, and components in many industry sectors.

Our technology stack turns standard components into SMART components. Our technology’s versatility is applicable to challenges and opportunities in the automotive sector. Therefore, our innovation creates new value streams for Novares and for its customers.

Currently, our Senior Leadership Team, Glenn Fletcher (CEO), Phil Harper (CTO), Mark Wallace (COO), and Christina King (Head of Strategic Partnerships), will be in attendance.

Bringing our sensing technologies to Novares

Novares is based in France and is a global plastic solutions provider. Plus, Novares design and manufactures complex components & systems serving the future of the automotive industry. Novares’ first Venture Day, which will be held at Pavillon Gabriel, includes pitches from technology companies alongside inspirational keynote speakers. Then, the two winning tech firms will respectively receive the Novares and Public Awards. Moreover, they are selected by a panel from Novares’ investment and innovation ecosystem.

Although this is the first Venture Day, Novares already has a strong pedigree in exhibiting and promoting emerging technologies. Therefore, Novares’ demo car and open innovation lab, the Nova Car 2, displays the latest innovations that can be incorporated into the car of the future. This was unveiled in June 2019 in Paris and Nova Car 2 is now touring the world, showcasing 25 innovations created in partnership with 10 technology firms.

While in Paris, Tribosonics will also meet with senior leaders from Novares to discuss opportunities for strategic partnership. Thus, innovation is core to both our businesses so there is a strong foundation for discussions between the two senior leadership teams. In addition, Tribosonics’ experience such partnerships are win-win. For example, our partner gains access to our unique sensing technology found elsewhere, and Tribosonics gains an opportunity to create scale and impact through our technology in a new field or application.
