Mark leads the company’s strategic vision to transform industry through Tribosonics’ world-leading sensing technology. Building on nearly a decade of operational leadership as COO and Board member, Mark now drives Tribosonics’ growth, forging impactful partnerships and championing a culture of excellence and innovation.

A Chartered Engineer, Mark is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including a Royal Academy of Engineering Medal, and was one of the youngest Fellows appointed by the IMechE. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and INSA Lyon.

Mark is passionate about harnessing technology to solve real-world challenges and committed to leading Tribosonics to enable a safer, more sustainable and more efficient future for industry.

Phil is an experienced hard-tech Chief Technology Officer with extensive strategic, commercial, innovation and product leadership experience.

Phil uses his passion and deep experience in commercialisation, innovation strategy, mechanical design, electronic systems, transducers, measurement science, product development and product compliance, to lead the Tribosonics team to solve intractable measurement challenges through challenging the status-quo and thinking differently about problems to come up with unique, significant value-add, scalable solutions. He is a Chartered Engineer, a holder of the Royal Academy of Engineering ERA Foundation Award and the IET’s Sir Henry Royce Gold Medal. Phil holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Tribology and Ultrasonics from the University of Sheffield.

Pete is Non-Exec Chairman of Tribosonics. He is a serial entrepreneur with interests in sensing and monitoring instrumentation, the energy transition, and business services.

His business background has included successfully bringing innovative technology to market, creating business models which maximise client value and investor returns. He has broad experience in company funding and M&A.

Pete is a visiting professor at two universities with a PhD in hydrodynamics. He was a pioneer of AI, winning the ICE’s Telford Prize in 2000 for the prediction of water quality using artificial neural networks. He has pursued the application of AI and advanced analytics in several companies as far back as the early 2000s. He has published around 50 peer reviewed papers, book chapters, and is lead author on a book on Whole Life Costing (Google Scholar).
