We’re celebrating another amazing anniversary milestone and that is our one-year anniversary since partnering with Champion Health. It has been a fantastic journey on how we can continue to support our employees during this pandemic and after.

Inclusivity and wellbeing are two of our core values. These influenced three new initiatives at Tribosonics – our Achievement Recognition scheme, Hydration initiative, and Wellbeing lunch n’ learns. Learn more below:

Achievement Recognition

Firstly, the Achievement Recognition scheme started in December 2020 and has been a raging success. It’s a very simple idea, let’s give our staff a tangible way of saying ‘thank you’ to any of their colleagues for absolutely anything! One way our staff bond with each other is over a hot cup of coffee! So we decided that Costa Coffee vouchers were unquestionably the best ‘Thank You’ to give.

Since its inception, Tribosonics staff have gifted nearly 200 Costa vouchers to their colleagues for all sorts of reasons! From helping out at the end of the day to bringing mind-blowing creative ideas to the table.

Hydration

Next, as the summer months began to roll in, we listened to our staff who were looking for an easier way to track how much water they were drinking. We took it one step further and now openly promote a ‘hydration culture’ where we encourage everyone to drink water during virtual meetings and in person. What’s even better are our Tribosonics water bottles! Not only do they have our unique branding, but they also feature measurement lines on the side which act as drinking goals. These measurements take the hard work out of remembering how water is consumed in a day, helping our staff keep on track. It’s been amazing to see these bottles settled on desks at home and in the office!

Organisation and Time Management with Wendy McCristal

Finally, a part of our values is supporting our colleagues in the very different working environment we are in currently. COVID restrictions changed the working office therefore the way we approach every day is different. To maintain a healthy balance and manage our workload in these different times, our whole business attended a Workshop with Wendy McCristal, the director of the Mental Wealth Company. She walked us through her life experiences and learnings. We learnt loads from Wendy and we loved her work so much we invited her to our Communications Day!

What does Wendy think about how Tribosonics champion health?

From a genuine desire to understand how wellbeing challenges show up for their employees, quick decision making, through to implementation of practical solutions, Tribosonics have used their innovative drive to drive tangible improvements in wellbeing quickly and robustly through some high-impact events and interventions.
